Okay, Chip, you can smack me down for this

, but as you all probably know, I'm a professional author. For a brief time on Smashwords, I'm giving away the ebook of my first novel.
You read right. FREE. No strings attached. It comes in different formats, so you'll find something that'll work for your ebook reader of choice.

Obligatory tea reference:

Be sure to drink your favorite tea while reading it.

Go for it Maggs. Best of luck with your ebook. I am pretty ignorant on this. Does one need a nook or whatever? Kindle?
Congratulations!!!
Look for this in TD ... if Maggie remembers to do it!

You can read it right off your computer, or you can use a Kindle or one of the many ebook readers or iTouch or iPhone cell phone thingies. It'll even work with MS Word.

We aim to please.

Wonderful! Have you seen some of the experiments by various sci-fi/fantasy authors that seem to indicate that a time-limited release of an ebook can generate actual paper sales? Interesting idea that flies in the face of conventional publishers who don't want to release even the customary 5 page Amazon preview.
By the way, congratulations! Is there going to be a hardcopy release too? Looks like my kind of story!

Congratulations!! I don't have a reader but I'll give it a try off the internet.
I'm looking through Smashwords with 1 1/2 spacing. Wow nice to control the size. Cool, thanks! And congratulations again!

Yes, I am aware of this. This book came out in 2005 in trade paperback and you can purchase a copy if you so choose, but not required. I have other books available, but again, this isn't a push for those.
Thanks!
