Chinese name for the "tea pets" for tables?

by nicknizinski » Mar 27th, '10, 02:01

Hey hows it going guys.

I have been seeing lots of pics, and videos with people who have the clay "pets" for there table. The ones that soak up the oils and darken over time. Looking to find out what the official name for these are cause I just am having no luck finding sites with them for sale. I found teacuppa had a few and that's it. PM's welcome for any places that sell these.

Any info on these would be very helpful. Thank You.

Try Yunnan Colorful on ebay, he has lots of them. Just be aware that guy doesn't know how to wrap stuff properly.

茶虫 (chá chóng) in simplified characters; literally "tea insect".
