I am running low on pu erh. I had the $2/cake stuff from Ten Tea. It's good, but not as good to me as the sample of pu erh dante that I had from Adiago.
Any recommendations for something I can drink everyday, but that is a little better than the $2 stuff from Ten Tea?
TIA

Yes, sheng and shou are completely different animals. It depends what exactly you are looking for. Do you want to taste pu-erh in its green or aged state. Do you want taste and artificially aged pu-erh? They all taste completely different.

There are definitely better pu-erhs than the $2 Tentea tuo, but the prices vary (read "high"). You can get a good selection of pu-erh at http://www.houdeasianart.com, buy some samples of both sheng (raw) or shou (cooked/ripened) pu-erh and see which ones you like before splurging. If you want sheng pu-erh, get the older stuff, they often beat the pants off shou and young sheng.
For more Pu-erh tea info I suggest reading the wikipedia article.
