Although I'm not at the stage where I would plan a trip specifically for tea, I wouldn't mind if there were some plantations or estates to see that just happened to be where I was going.

This morning was some cocoa mint black (meh). Now I'm off to make some Enghish breakfast.

I love tea but it wouldn't be the focus of my dream vacation, i'll definitely bring some along though ;) hehehe! I want to go to way too many places now...especially to see karst in china...or dunes in the sahara !! cha cha!

Having some dark chocolate waffles with a cup of masala chai-> not the usual combination today though! Had a bowl of organic matcha kaoru supreme from o-cha earlier, never realized how much better matcha is with sweets a bit before it.

TIME TO PREORDER SHINCHA!!!! CANT WAIT FOR THIS YEARS HARVEST!!!!

everybody have a goodie tea tea day

I really, really want to go to Japan, so that was an easy choice. Although I don't think the sole focus of the trip would be tea, it would definitely play a major part. (To be honest, tea is a major part of any trip I take, even if I'm just going home during a vacation.)

Lapsang Souchong right now, to be followed by some unidentified-- but tasty-- new Chinese tea and maybe something green later.

I'd love to travel to the Himalayas some day, would be a dream vacation, but checking out the tea plantations wouldn't be my my priori-tea (see what I did there)

Maybe, maybe, maybe...India is a pretty difficult country to travel I heard, but I may go to Nepal later in the year...depending on the money thing of course...one airline here has direct flights to Kathmandu and sometimes they have really good discounts, so we'll see.

I'm drinking a Yunnan Gold now which is blowing my mind!

Pretty much what I was thinking. I may not be the biggest history buff, but I love wandering around cities and castles - ruined or still occupied.

Fukamushi sencha this afternoon post-work while I had a very nice phone chat with a friend. I don't see her near often enough, and so we spent about 45 mins catching up. Been talking to her more often (2-3 weeks, not 2-3 months like it had been), but it always seems like there's more to say. All in all, a good day.

Would love to visit tea plantations in Japan and would include a trip to Uji and pottery shops. Missed visiting these places while in Kyoto last year.

Yuuki-cha's Tenkei Tori matcha this morning and Kagoshima oolong, also from Yuuki-cha this afternoon.

``Every party needs a pooper''

My dream vacation would be an extended trip through the wine regions of France (especially Burgundy, Champagne, the Loire), Germany (especially the Saar and the Rheingau), and Italy (to satisfy my wife). This trip would involve loads of *food* and bicycling and carriage and boat rides. We would visit castles and see lots of art, especially in Florence.

Also I would probably drink tea every day.

EDIT: I started the day with Hibiki-an fukamushi and finished with Tsuru-Jiru-Shi.

Had a curious vanilla green blend this afternoon. I can't really say if I liked it or not, but I don't have a whole lot of it. Finishing off the evening with an English Breakfast. Lovely day for tea, especially since you all have given me more words to look up. I started with sencha.

No, tea would not be the focus of my dream vacation. But I would love to include it as part of a dream trip to china, with the karst mountains being the main goal--someone else's pictures at the link below show why.

http://www.imaginature.nl/pages/karst%20mountains.html

Conveniently enough, there are karst mountains in Yunnan, home of puerh.

A two-tea day, probably 48 ounces, with 16 ounces or so of pomelo-scented Anji white tea, and then 32 ounces of Yunnan Oriental Beauty oolong.
