This is already a fantastic TeaDay!!!! I opened my sample tin of Adagio's Black Pearls!!!! This is obviously going to be one of my favorite teas :!: :!: :!:

It was smooth, and rich tasting. Loved the aroma of the pearls upon opening the tin; enjoyed watching the pearls opening up in my utiliTEA, and absolutely loved the way the tea caressed my throat as I imbibed.

Also, my best friend made a delivery to our newspaper box this morning; she left me two Hot Cross Buns, and our local weekly newspaper that covers the community, the arts and entertainment in the local area, and is loaded with photos. She certainly knows how to make me happy. The only thing that would make me happier is if she had come in and visited. :) However, she doesn't drink hot tea and very seldom drinks ice tea. :(

I'm having the same artmom! I re-ordered as soon as I got the restocking notice! Yumm!

I drink much more tea on the weekends, work definitely interferes with
my tea time.

I drink more tea on the weekend and enjoy it more since I'm not in the work rush of the weekdays.

Artmom: I love the Black Dragon Pearls too. I've been rationing my sample to make it last longer!

This morning I'm enjoying a cup of Mao Feng Noir from Tao of Tea. This is going toward the top of my favorites list!

It really depends. Some weekends I'm out and about and much less likely to have tea, sometimes I take tea with me even if I'm going to be out and about, and sometimes I'm just at home most of the day anyway, so I end up drinking a fair bit. I hesitate to say more than during the workweek either way, since I usually get up later and stay up later (though this sometimes means that I'm likely to drink tea later in the day than I would normally). I normally cut off at about 7-8pm with tea if I have to be up the next morning (just in case), but weekends that might stretch to closer to 10pm.

Vanilla/almond oolong with a couple jasmine pearls with lunch, now contemplating some Fukamushi while I clean the house this afternoon.

Ok digging into my Lochan FF Darjeeling sampler today:

Goomtee the dry leaves have a fresh green aroma but brewed up tasting like a 2nd flush with a slight bite. Strange.

I am a tea and coffee every day sort of person. As much as I love tea, sometimes when lots of work needs to get done with minimal distractions, coffee is my go to.

I like both tea and coffee, but I am not as "snobby" about coffee as I am tea. Though I do love great coffee when I have it.

But I am almost more of a Weekend Tea warrior, where due to lack of time I stand less of a chance to drink large amounts of tea on weekdays.

Seeker! That photo is beautiful!

ToT Grand Qimen in my cup right now. It seems to be a good "everyday" tea. I tried the Lemon Drops (Nilgiri black tea w/lemon myrtle) earlier today and wasn't thrilled - which is depressing since I accidentally ordered 4 oz. I'll see if it is a good ice-r.

Thank you Geeker and Seeker for coloring our TeaWorld today. Great shots!

I generally see no reason to alter my tea drinking habits much on the weekends. I like tea anytime. And since I do not "drink" that leaves more weekend time to sip and slurp away!

If I manage to go for a bike ride, I will not drink tea for at least an hour before and an hour after ... then I am looking for more carbs, etc in my drink.
Began the TeaDay with mystery sencha from O-Cha in a Deishi Biwa Wan. This was quite earthy, which I think was its intent. Next up, a Matcha tasting with Mrs. Chip in a Seigan Loquat chawan and a Korean green in a Deishi Shira wan.

enjoying some fall alishan oolong from norbu on Ocean Beach in San Francisco, perfect setting, perfect tea. Prepped the tea this morning before we hit the road for current enjoyment.

Never abandon my tea!

Whoa, Seeker, beautiful pic!!! :D

Didn't get much of my Fukamushi yesterday (or as much cleaning done as I wanted). Roommate came home and announced that we were going shoe shopping. I hate shopping, it really doesn't matter what it's for. But I went with her, and we got back just in time for dinner.

So I made up a pot of my Chocolate Covered Cherry to go with dinner. Oversteeped it by about a minute, but no one complained.
