Yay, more nice teapots! I absolutely love everyone's collections.
Today was the last tea party of the spring semester, and my friends and I celebrated it in grand style! (Soooo many people showed up with soooo many snacks and soooo much tea...
) I also managed to convert a girl who had never drunk tea before to sencha. Hehehe.
I had longjing, pu-erh, and a rosehip tisane-- multiple cups of each-- and also managed to get a friend's younger brother to try some pu-erh. (Tip: many teenage boys will chomp at the bit to try something that is described as "fermented" so they can go up to their older sisters and attempt to gross them out, if what happened today is any indicator.
)
No idea what I'm going to have before bed tonight-- probably chrysanthemum black tea or genmaicha.

The PersonaliTEA is my go-to pot also! Yay us!Victoria wrote:Honestly of all my English/Western pots I use this
little $9 Adagio PersonaliTEA most often. It is very
versatile and keeps tea hot.

I'm BACK! We've been down in BIG wine country - Napa. We live in little wine country - the Willamette Valley, and decided to spend a week seeing how the big boys do it. I like home best. Plus I didn't have a single cup of tea for 8 DAYS!
Had a cup tonight, but it still wasn't the real deal, some flavored stuff from Stash, but at least it was hot and in a teacup, right?
I have a couple of western teapots, but only one is really of any use. It was a wedding present, a little Duchess pot (16oz) with an unlabeled design, and has been used maybe 4-5 times. I prefer my other pots, but it's really pretty, so I keep it around. I also have a large (32oz?) Kutani pot. It's western-style, but clearly from Japan, so I don't know if that counts. Ha!
I've been on the hunt for awhile, for a Homer Laughlin Skytone teapot and coffee pot. They are big, but I have a whole set of the dishes, just missing the pots.
Here's an old photo of the little brit one (sorry it's just a top view. Can't find a full view and I'm up to my eyeballs in processing images from my trip):

It's fun to see the different and individual tastes in these teawares. Different strokes for different folks.
