Make sure you know what kind of tea you like to drink and what size pot you'll use before you buy anything too fancy. Otherwise you'll have an expensive pot that isn't very practical. I bought a few cheaper pots before I figured out what suited me best. Some will say buy cheap and get to know what you want. Others will say start with something nice and it will last you longer. I would recommend the later only if you know what pot will suit you.
Also I remember there being a couple posts about negative experiences with Chen's shop as well. One was a special order pot and the other was a cheaper amateur pot. I've never ordered there so I can't say for sure. Try to dig up some old threads and you might get some good guidance as well.

Are you talking to me or to Tead Off? I'm not in Bangkok. And while I live in the US, I am
certainly not averse to giving a short or gruff answer, as folks who frequent this forum probably know.
Regardless, I think rudeness on the Inter-Nets is not something that knows any national boundaries... I think you will find that people of all colors, shapes and sizes manage to be mean to each other online.

Yeah, that was my mistake. Got my names and places mixed up.
