Ode to Tie Guan Yin.

Owes its flavors to oxidation levels between green & black tea.

Ode to Tie Guan Yin.

by rabbit » Apr 27th, '10, 12:35

I'm just bored and I felt like writing something whilst I sip my tgy.

Ode to Tie Guan Yin.
How tasty you are as you dance upon my tongue,
Soft, floral, fluid and inspiring,
Hot water to cleanse your tightly rolled leaves,
I wait to see what it is I await,
The porcelain burns my fingertips,
I don't mind... I watch as the changing that’s inside,
Reveal to me, unfurled and spinning,
Like a ballerina, gentle, yet strong,
Like Chinese olive silk and jade,
You take me away, and bring me back,
You lift me from this lethargic state,
Continue dancing in my gaiwan,
Forever turning and leading on.
Ode to Tie Guan Yin.
