Re: Shincha 2010
Undecided what so far ... likely at least 10-15 different ones. Yutaka Midori is however a given.

Re: Shincha 2010
I'm looking at some Yutaka Midori as well. I'm really excited for shincha this season.
Re: Shincha 2010
Kirameki, Warashina supreme and Ippodo shincha. I don't think I will order any other shincha.
Re: Shincha 2010
hmm i would but i'm saving for a newer car...
just ordered some 09 kagoshima from ito en and its a bit disappointing tho.
trying not to be so spendthrift as past years when i was living with my parents, making $800 a week take home and living way beyond my means...
i think the year i found this board i spent 2 grand on Japanese teaware... bad influence!

This just in:

Kagoshima YM - very tasty. Somewhere on the vegetal scale between sweet peas and asparagus, with a deep umami finish. Ah the divine freshness...

Excellent! Enjoy more steeps. The first 3 are all pretty potent.CynTEAa wrote:This just in:

Re: Shincha 2010
Ok, so it wasn't a tin, just a really really fancy envelope. I haven't opened it yet, its almost too pretty.
I'll probably open it up tomorrow, since i'm moving my tea stuff home today.
