imageshack.com will resize them when you upload them, or you can download a free image editing program called irfanView.

But you won't be able to post that size on the forum.
The limit on hosted photos is 640 pixels wide.
For attachment photos, it is 500 pixels wide.

thanks to the replies -- I was asking because I want the photos to be the right size for the pictures that go on the containers of my signature blends. Note -- these are not pictures I'm taking myself. They are public domain pictures I'd like to use. Guess I should have mentioned this.

After you crop it, check the size again, then resize to 700x300 pixels.
It's the "resize" part I'm stuck on. I don't know where to find where to resize it. But that may be because I'm using 'Paint'...

I did try it in Nero but it seems resizing it there is doing the same thing that Adagio is doing itself. Maybe you can get an idea of what I mean if you looked at the picture on the container of my tea blends. 'Triple Almond' is one of them and 'Chocolate Raspberry Honeybush' is another.

2 Click on HELP
3 Navigate to help resizing.
4 read help resizing.

Yep, that paint. hmm... I'm doing what it is telling me but now it is just cutting off the entire picture and not shrinking it. Oh well. I guess the ugly sizing will just have to stay on my blended tea containers. thanks for your help! I appreciate it, even if I am hopeless with computers.
