Phew! There were some problems with my account but they're all fixed and I'm glad to be posting!
I'm 21 and a fairly recent tea enthusiast. I have been drinking tea regularly since graduating high school (before then it was just when I went to restaurants or Starbucks). Although I was drinking tea regularly, I didn't really know too much about it or drink loose leaf. I do now though and enjoy 2-5 cups a day. I love the classics as well as the creative and sweet, spicy, or fruity blends like those found at Teavana and, lucky me, a handful of tea places that I live around (some sell loose leaf). I'm still so new to it all and strangely, tea reminds me of wine. The flavors, regions, etc. (I am a young wino as well.
) I look forward to learning a lot here.
Please share your favorite tea and why I am going to love it (and where I can get it most importantly)!!

I'd have to agree with Victoria. Gaoshan Oolong is probably my favorite.

Welcome!! And coming from another young wino, yes, tea is quite reminiscent of wine.
I'm currently in love with the Snowbud from our host, Adagio, although I haven't had it from anywhere else, so I can't speak for other places to find it. And I'd also agree wholeheartedly with Victoria - oolongs are great. As for vendors, I'd check out the TeaVendor Guide to see what folks have recommended for specific kinds of tea.

If you're fairly new to the world of loose leaf tea you could far worse than heading over to our host site, Adagio, and filling up a basket with sample tins. Once you know what you like the forum is and endless mine of info on specialist vendors and recommendations.
