I'm Kat. I currently have been studying tea for over 2 years now, but have only stuck with Sencha up till last summer.
I currently work at Teaopia which is quite entertaining since I get to educate myself on the smells of different teas, as well as different regions. Kinda like going back to school again.
My favorite thing to do on my days off is look in different tea shops to look at selections and perhaps have a pot or run away with some to enjoy at home.
I enjoy my green teas most, especially Sencha and Gyokuro. I am learning more about black and Oolongs and wish to understand more about Puerh.
I hope to one day own a gallery with a tea cafe as well. Offering patrons to sit down and enjoy the art while sipping tea in a variety of different tea ware (English, Chinese, Japanese being the main).
I graduated beginning of June with a Degree in Drawing and Painting, where my Thesis work was done useing Sume-i ink <3
I look forward to gettting to know everyone and learning more about a common interest (what ever level we all may be at <3)

Welcome, Kat! You live in one of my favorite cities.
And we have two other things in common--art and Tea. Looking forward to accompanying you on your Tea journey.
