Price Comparison

Some time ago I checked on the price of one particular pu-erh tea offered by 3 different companies. It was a 250 g brick.

Company 1 sold it for $8.30 + $12.- shipping,

Company 2 sold it for $13.40 + $12.- shipping
and
Company 3 sold it for 23.80 + $3.80 shipping

Now if one will add more teas at company 1 and 2 the shipping cost will go down per 100 g tea shipped. At company 1 it ranges between $0.80 and $ 1.20 per 100 g of tea if order is between 2 and 3 kg total weight.

Curious: were the vendors in different countries?

I wouldn't be surprised by the price difference if vendors 1 and 2 were in china, and 3 was in the US or europe.

All companies are based in China. I should have mentioned it. One is in Yunnan the other 2 in Guangdong.

The comparison was easy since all showed the same picture of the brick, maker and year.
