Hey folks. I love Tokoname ware, and I'm in the market for a new kyusu. I'm leaning towards Rishi's Fukugata (http://www.rishi-tea.com/store/product. ... =25&page=1), which is just perfect for my needs, but I'd like to compare it with others. Here's the catch: I don't want a modern kyusu with a mesh filter. I want a kyusu (like the Fukugata) with a clay sasame.
Anybody know a good vendor? I'll probably end up sticking with Rishi, as they haven't let me down yet, but it's nice to shop around. Thanks for the help!

I have two email "friends" who have the Den pot, they both love it.
I do like the idea of brewing sencha in a white pot. All the teacups that I actually use are either white or glass. I find this is most enjoyable as well al helping me to observe the natural beauty of my Japanese brew.

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
I love white pots too, so I'm kind of torn between the Fukugata and the Kikumaru. There's something so classically appealing about the red-clay kyusu, though...chip wrote: I do like the idea of brewing sencha in a white pot. All the teacups that I actually use are either white or glass.
