To the O.P., why not give the 2008 a try? It's still cheap and has had a couple years to lose the newly fermented smell/taste. This is a more lightly fermented tea anyway. I like this one a lot, and I've never heard anyone complain about this tea. Can't go wrong on this one, I think.

I think you might have to put CTC or the dust from breaking up your puerh cakes into that pot...and add the water with an eye dropper!
