I saw this thread awhile back, and almost placed an order for one of these, but I figured I probably have something that would work. So I was looking through my closet full of stuff I'm going to take with me once I move in somewhere and low and behold I found these plates. Pictured with a standard Menghai cake for size comparison.

While it does not have the very tall vertical sides, they are curved up which catches the leaves nicely, although they can still be pushed off. But I think the plate looks cool, and works wonders for this use.
