Here is to an excellent TeaDay for all! Please drop in and share what is in your cup with us.
Yesterday we discussed whether we spent more time shopping for and buying FOOD or TEA. You can still vote or discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Continuing the Food versus Tea War, do you spend more money of FOOD or TEA/TeaWare? Please share.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Easily food.
Drinking a mix of puerh from essence of tea (1990's giant tuocha), and another from rishi (ancient moonlight bing).

Easily more on food. I love tea, but tea is cheap and food doesn't seem to be. I would spend more on tea, but I'm not sure I can drink that much. I might be able to spend more on teaware, but not every month. Eventually I would run out of room.

I don't have a lot to spend on either, so food definitely wins. However, if I go to Chinatown, I may end up spending the same amount on both... Or more on tea.
Yunnan black this morning, probably going to have several greens later today.

I would say food, because that's for two of us and only I drink Tea.
Non-mythical granddaughter is enroute through China to the US today. She'll stay in California a week to visit other grandparents, then home to us next Thursday!!! Then, I'll be trying some GREEN tea.

Hello all! Sorry I haven't been posting
, been in California on vacation for the week. Won't be back until next Monday. The good news is that I have 4 packages waiting for me at home!!!
No tea for most of the week I'm afraid, staying with aunts & uncles who drink lots of coffee.
As for money, I spend more on tea because I have a prepaid meal plan at school.

Sorry ArtMom, I have not ordered from EnjoyingTea yet. I know others have, so stay tuned.
Take Hagi out of the equation, it is an easy answer, FOOD. However Hagi might make it realllly close. But still, I think food wins by a nose.
Nice TD going. Began with Kirameki asamushi Shincha from the O-C. SweeTea appreciated this lovely brew. Next up, some Happy Tea from maiko ... might do the "happy dance" soon.

Hi Puti,
How do you like that organic matcha?
Would you consider sharing tasting/aroma thoughts about it?
I'd love to hear as I'm on the lookout for a truly great organic matcha.
Others might enjoy hearing as well?
Cheers!

Definitely food. Food shopping is for 4 adults (sometimes 5), and tea is mostly for me, though my boyfriend will join me in a cup every now and then - the other two will drink tea on occasion, but not often. They're coffee drinkers.
