Hello everybody. I joined a few days ago and didn't see this forum area until just now. I'm new to tea drinking, very new. I've already found a favorite bagged tea that is readily available but I'm curious about loose leaf tea. I just bought the ingenuiTEA that came with a sampler of black teas. I'm not a fan of typical tea, such as regular iced tea and the english breakfast teas out there (all bagged). So I'm anxious to try the loose leaf samples I'll be getting in a few days to see how they compare to the ones I've already tried that were bagged.
I love masala chai and I've read that masala chai usually uses a base of assam teas. So I added two blends of assam to my cart so I'll give those a try. Assam Harmony and Melody from Adagio. I like a spicy tea so I hope that'll be what I get with those two.
I've met a few very nice people here on TeaChat and I'm glad I signed up. This is a great community. Very thankful for it.
Re: New to tea!
Welcome! You'll find that you have almost unlimited options when it comes to loose leaf tea, there are so many types... there's something for everyone, you might also want to try some green teas and oolong teas as well.
