Day 3 of the TeaCruise aboard the good ship TeaChat. Be sure to report what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed whether we would be hosting and brewing ... or visiting and sipping. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. So 3 days into the TeaCruise, things have settled. Will you have settled back into your TeaRoutine, or will you continue to seek new frontiers for the rest of the journey.
Icebergs have been sighted in the area ... keep your eyes and ears open. Still I will be looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone! Bottoms up.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 8/11/10 Breaking routine?
New TeaAdventures FTW. It's a cruise, so I'll try to get as much as possible out of it.
Haven't had tea yet today, but there's White Peony in my future.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 8/11/10 Breaking routine?
I will mix a little adventure with routine since I'm a true creature of habit, but will look forward to learning about new tea horizons from the many knowledgable people here. Just finished a pu-erh tea, I actually add honey, a little vanilla and cinnamon (I know some purists here will cringe lol, but I'm probably the opposite of a purist, only drink flavored coffee, only eat flavored chips, like things mixed in ice cream, you get the idea...) Im off to go see Chicago the musical today with my mom and daughter, no tea until tonight again when I'll try a new jamaican rooibos from Rishi.

A mix of both - ideally 1 new thing (and/or newly discovered thing), plus something routine.
And finger sandwiches today, with homemade bread. This time of year, some homemade fig preserves I managed to smuggle aboard (since customs was expecting more TeaStuff), and scones!
But here, no tea yet, on my way out the door. Thinking Snowbud today.

I would definitely look forward to new TeaAdventures!
There is a lot I haven't tried, so my routine would probably be set aside.
Keemun in my cup this morning.

Hoping that the good ship TeaChat is more seaworthy than the Titanic

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 8/11/10 Breaking routine?
tea adventures for me! I only settle (somehwat uneasily) into a tea routine when I don´t have teafunds to be trying new teas...on the tea cruise I won´t stop trying new teas until the end!
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 8/11/10 Breaking routine?
I will definately be trying new teas until the cruise is over. My "regular" tea changes frequently as i continue to try new teas so i dont really have a routine.
Norbu's bamboo puerh today, recieved this as a sample in one of my orders. My first puerh and i am not sure i am brewing it quite correctly, but it definately has potential and has gotten me interested in trying others.

Fear not, I have placed the good ship TeaChat on auto pilot while brewing and sippingartmom wrote:Hoping that the good ship TeaChat is more seaworthy than the Titanic, I've settled into a schedule of routine and adventure!!!

Besides, this ship is unsinkable with the hull made of Yixing and Tokoname clays with Banko reinforcements
When not showing off my fancy pouring skillz, I will be adventuring as much as possible while also hoping to find some examples of teas I am familiar with, but uber high qualiTea!
We will all be on top of the TeaWorld!

Oh, began the TD with uber good Yutaka Midori Supreme from the O-C with SweeTea along with Lili and the good Pyrit (hmmm, who is at the helm ... I hate to ask and ruin a perfectly good YM moment???).

Anyway! I think I would settle back in to some sort of routine, but I would still seek out some new teas to try I'm sure.
Started the day with the 2007 Mengku that was still in the gaiwan. Steeps 8-15 turned out decent, if light.
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 8/11/10 Breaking routine?
Having my first tea of the day right now, still working through my Shincha. Been a bit lax on tea lately, but hopefully it will pick up next week.

Has everyone abandoned ship as a premonition to an impending disaster?
Earlier some dribs and drabs sencha with the Mrs. which turned out better than the sum of its parts. Finishing the TD with Pouchong from Adagio's Masters Series. Lots of SLT opps ...

TeaAdventures and frontiers abound on this cruise! I want to try everything on this ship before its over. Maybe twice
Chip, I haven't abandon ship yet but my life jacket is securely fastend for the rest of the trip.

TeaAdventures and frontiers abound on this cruise, this is what calls to me. WOW, this will be quite an adventure having soooo many TeaMasters brewing so many teas throughout the days for us!!!
Really quite mind-boggling when you think about it!
