A friend of mine brought me this elegant set of tea cups from Taiwan. The brand is Tao Fun, but I have not been able to find it online. Does anyone know anything about this company?
Re: Tao Fun
So no-one is familiar with the Tao Fun company? Interesting. The cups appear to be of decent quality, though I've yet to use them. Soon I hope, with some friends.
Interestingly, the box has a built in magnet so the lid stays closed when lowered.

Re: Tao Fun
Sorry, I've never heard of the company Tao Fun. These do look like well-made cups. I've found most of what comes from Taiwan to be of excellent quality. I have a fair amount of tea ware from Taiwan but other than the items from Eilong, An Da, and Linns, I don't know who made the rest of it.
I just received a pair of Taiwanese cups in the mail this afternoon. They also came in a high-quality box. I like Taiwanese tea ware but unfortunately it's not that easy to find. When I do find it, I usually grab it without hesitation. Some Taiwanese companies require the purchase of cartons containing as many as 30 pieces, so small dealers can't afford to buy the full case.
