water jars vendors online?

Hi guys,

i was looking on the net to find a nice water jar to go with my teaware, but i have a hard time finding one.

i dont really care about the water changing qualities of the jar, i leave that in the middle, but i just would like one for aesthetic reasons
i personally dont care for the fancy smancy ones, being that i like simplicity in teaware
i have seen some pics of some really nice japanese ones, and even korean
but no vendors
anybody got some tips?

Thanks for clarifying that.

If you look at real mizusashi made with that intent... they are specifically for Chanoyu. Most teawares for ceremony are higher price point items. Yes, they are high quality objects....... but you'll pay for that.

Maybe just look for an appropriate sized "covered jar" from a craftsperson if you do not practice tea ceremony.

I imagine that most of the Teaware Artisans frequenting TeaChat make mizusashi... so that is of course one avenue for you to look at. Also go to local fine craft shops in your area.
