Hello. My name is AJ and I'm new to the world of tea*. I recently started exploring loose-leaf tea after having seeing a classmate/friend carry around a clear travel mug with some funky contents swirling about in water.

He shared some of it with me and while I wasn't in love with his choice of flavor, it wasn't all that bad. My interest was piqued and since that time I've been reading up on loose-leaf teas.
I landed at this place while researching -- I'm glad I did because the forum has been very helpful. Yesterday, I purchased an ingenuiTEA teapot (including sample teas) and an inexpensive Hot Pot to get started. It's not the best setup but I want to make sure I like it before I go broke.
*** I have had bagged teas (everyday Supermarket brands) before but that's only been on occasions.

Thanks Chip. I will share what's in my cup once my order arrive. Today, it's just water.

Yes, have fun with your TeaJourney and like Chip said, let us know what's in your cup in TeaDay ... once you have tea!
