Pretty middle of the road. I listen to recommendations and choose the things I think I'll like.

I've been liking Tao of Tea's Green Dragon oolong today. Light and sweet, a nice change from my typical medium/heavy roasted fare.

Decidedly a follower - for now! I happily take recommendations because I'm still finding my TeaTastes.

Yunnan Noir this morning at work. Didn't get any this afternoon, and it made me sad.

Great TD continued with a tasting of a sencha that I tracked down and may find its way into an OTTI. And currently Masters TKY from Adagio.

teaday today has me pretty buzzed!

Started with two bowls of matcha matsu...then 2 or 3 infusions of everyday sencha from O-cha....then a package arrived from O-cha so I made a bowl of the kiri-no-mori matcha I ordered

I think I overdid the matcha a bit...definitely feeling the caffeine

I think I'm a follower-- I like to get other people's opinions on vendors before I rush in and buy from anyone.

Keemun this afternoon, currently drinking a ginger tisane because my sinuses are being stupid. >.<

Bit of both. Have followed tips from forums to particular teas and sources of teas, but have found others on my own. No direct treks to pluck my own teas from overgrown wild arbor trees yet.....

Today, some Huang Jin Gui (hadn't read much about it, but I discovered the source, Norbu, from an online forum tasting); then some Long Jing (from Wing Hop Fung, discovered by scouting my local Chinatown), and now some Rou Gui (from HouDe, had read about both the type of tea and the particular merchant here on TC).

While I appreciate and respect the recommenations of others, I prefer to blaze my own teatrail - what tastes fabulous to someone else may taste like moldy peat to me.
