I have been really into tea for a year. Beginning my journey with tea has been very exciting. It's like every gong fu cha is an occasion to learn, and discover that there is also much more to learn.
I like a beautiful tea tasting, with a nice setup, taking my time, breathing. But I am also so intrigued that I do a lot of experiments on every parameter possible. Sometime I feel like a scientist in a lab.

I have been reading teachat everyday for a while now. So I figured it was time to introduce myself.
I also love Japan, its culture, history, their arts, and their food !! Their tea also of course, that's where everything began I think, when passing by chance in front of a nice teashop in Kyoto, which happened to be Ippodo.
I have been to Japan 3 times and I begin to plan my 4th trip there. I am also a big fan of japanese ceramics. My collection is building up rapidly. I went to Hagi and Tottori where I met with Hidehisa from Magokorodo who made me visit his lair and eat the best japanese food in my life !

Thanks for reading this.
David.
