Oh I'd very much imagine that will be the piece. He's great at chatting BTW and a really nice guy so drop him an email and ask.

If this Cantonese cutie can handle gaiwan, a tough Westerner like yourself will be able of much more.entropyembrace wrote:I´m trying to pick out a little gongfu set but I´m wondering about something...I see gaiwans are very popular but I also hear a lot of talk about burned fingers...are they really that hard to use without burning yourself?...

Re: Gaiwan vs Pot for gongfu
Another topic led me to Dragon Tea House's e-bay store, where I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but did find something that looks quite wonderful and cheap, for anyone who wants some nice basic gaiwans, for comparative tastings, and to have backups for the inevitable accidents: a set of six plain white porcelain gaiwans, 100mL size, about the same size as my faves that I use all the time, for $17.99.
Disclaimer: I have not bought this set or anything else from DTH myself, but it is a company many others here on TeaChat seem to have had good experiences with.

Yeah you can buy those in singles as well. I've often looked at that gaiwan. The shape seems great if anything else. I was thinking of getting a couple for the garden.

90-120 ml thin porcelain gaiwan, without a doubt.
This is my everyday gaiwan. Well made, and very easy to handle.
