I keep rereading your description of these Hagi pieces, Chip. It's got me really excited to see how they turned out!
Might I add how absolutely great it is that you make these Hagi special offers happen! Asking the artist to create a special piece just for this (one that is apparently challenging, even to a master of his craft) and getting him to actually do it is an accomplishment in itself.
It is also a contribution to cultural exchange and international understanding between people from very different parts of the world. I love that!
I hope that this relationship is going to go on for a long time and that beautiful art will be created and enjoyed in the process.
