Special sales from some of the vendors would be cool as well - maybe something where Chip does not have to do so much work! We do appreciate everything you do.

Can't wait for the Hagi SO tomorrow!!

Lot's of tea today, finally some sencha - YM supreme hit the spot. Some matcha as well, something I need to make just a bit more often.
Payment in YM Supreme would be payment enough :!:

Yeah, sencha to start the day and now some high brow exhibition asamushi for a possible OTTI ... this is REALLLLLY tough work, but someone's gotta do it for the good of the forum! 8)

Teaware SO´s are mostly for me to drool over...I´m not really a teaware collector I have to have a specific function in mind for a piece which my existing teaware does not fill in order to justify a purchase.

that and just a SO cup tends to cost more than I pay for a teapot

not that I don´t feel the urge to hoard pretty clay objects or can´t see the artistic value of the wares....but I just can´t afford it...yet

Someday, after Uni...hopefully...

The tea-shirt on the other hand is do-able and I´ll likely be ordering one shortly...would be awesome to see more designs if there´s any artists that want to make them!

Tea special offers would be interesting...it´s hard to say no to tea! Though in a way the OTTIs are tea SO´s and I´ve certainly been enjoying the ones I´ve participated in.

This has been a matcha day...two bowls of kiri no mori

not sure what to continue with....moar matcha?

I'm partial to Tokoname in this poll, I guess.
Yixing may not be a priority for myself right now (or rather for quite some time) but I'm sure those who love chinese teas would love an Yixing SO. Or maybe some nice and special Gaiwans.

You could always do more Hagi, though!
Maybe a white Shira straw ash glaze Gyokuro set of houhin plus two notched foot guinomi, possibly with finer clay being used, made by Seigan. :D
Or maybe ice split?
...I'm dreaming...
Where were we?

Ah right... what's in my cup?
Having some Sencha from Yame right now. Last infusion, though :(

My SO wish list would be include:

-Banko, kenji, and shigaraki kyusu offerings
-I like the Hankook idea
-A series of celadon offerings from various artisans would be awesome!
-tea trays would be kewl... I don't own one yet
-more SOs from our own tea artisans... Petr would be great, Cory, Ginkgo, etc. I really enjoyed the shyrabbit SO very much.
-Hagi and more Hagi... peeeeenk Hagi would be awesome. I saw some inexpensive cups on AN from a lesser known Hagi artisan, with a pale pink glaze. The craftsmanship of the cups was very mass-production in appearance, but the color was lovely! I'd have bought one but they were sold out already. If Seigan could please craft me a jumbo-sized pink something like the sansai wan, I would be all over it!

Drinking Nantou Four Seasons from Floating Leaves today... waiting to be visited by friendly "spirits" tonight...

Hi everyone, I am checking out this topic with much interest, so keep posting. Been focused on the Hagi SO 12 much of the day, getting all set for 10/10/10 at 10 pm Eastern time when this will go live!

I will reply to your suggestions later! THANKS!

Great TD, another prelim tasting of a possible OTTI sencha to start the TD. Next up, another tasting, another sencha! And currently, a mini tasting ... another sencha!

Started the day with Red Peach from Silk Road Teas. It ended up being my only tea today, It was hot, and I had a soda over ice and went to work on cleaning out my closet. I spent probably 6 hours and still not done, but I feel good about the two large bags for Goodwill.

I actually set my ALARM clock so I would not miss the Hagi "Spirit" Special Offer. They are so beautiful, I hope I got in on time!

Accessories. Unusual tea accessories that are things only true tea connoisseurs will be all like, "Oh my my my! I must get it!"...and I'm pretty sure people who aren't very...tea oriented but are trying to get into it will get them too.
