I usually feel I'm in the "TeaZone" especially when I'm making tea gongfu for my sister and brothers. The TGY or whatever else we have always comes out delicious. Though sometimes (usually when I'm alone) my tea can come out a little bitter... or sometimes I don't use quite enough leaf and it tastes really watered down.
No tea yet, but I'm thinking a quick pot of my Jungpana estate Darjeeling. Later perhaps a gongfu session with some of my dwindling stock of sheng pu samples.
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 10/20/10 You are entering the TeaZone!
I think you can't always be in the zone, otherwise everyone would drink tea to experience the high or it wouldn't be that fun anymore, because there's no feeling of accomplishment.
But yeah, for me it's quite so and so. There's days I'm not even near the zone, and there's days I chill out there all day long.
I got a new yixing + '25 years aged oolong' + two celadon cups from Dragon Tea House yesterday
. I've got some suspicions about the aged Dong Ding, but hey, it's okay.

I went with sometimes - since a lot of my tea consumption is at work, it's not ideal, and I know I could do better. At home I get it right more of the time, but simultaneously let it steep too long a bit more often, partially just because I tend to take less finicky teas to work (in case I forget about them for 10 minutes), so at home I'm doing most of my experimenting.
Snowbud all day at work, thinking some Peach Flambee (which is almost gone, sad day!) with dinner.

Sometimes. Let's just say, I do know what the "teazone" is. Sometimes I feel like I'm on a roll, then I crash and burn gloriously.
I am currently working my way back into the teazone.
Now I'm having a medium steamed sencha and things are looking zone-ish.

I'm usually in the TeaZone, and I'm certainly in it right now!
I drank a lot of chunmei green tea this afternoon, and right now I'm drinking a ginger tisane.

I'm not sure what part of "I don't want to work 6 days a week" my boss isn't quite understanding, but it's making getting into a tea zone much harder. I do get a lot of reading done at work, though
Also, Happy B-day, Seeker!

I generally am in the TeaZone, but every couple months or so, I have an off brew, when I can't seem to get it right.
Right now I'm drinking a 1999 Xiaguan Xiaofu Tuocha. Yummy!

have been a lot of drinking tea while doing homework lately though.
The teazone...sometimes...wasn´t yesterday I didn´t whisk my matcha properly and had quite a bit of unwhisked matcha at the bottom of the bowl.
