Hi! I'm Henley. I'm new here & fairly new to the tea drinking world. Have always been intrigued with cups/saucers, teapots & various accessories but only started drinking hot tea about 6 months ago. I'm hooked! While I haven't been drinking it long, I have found that I don't like Earl Grey or anything floral. I enjoy English Breakfast, Vanilla, Chai, Darjeeling & Chocolate Mint. My favorite is to combine Vanilla & Mint tea together. It's very refreshing.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting other tea drinkers & finding some great tea rooms in the northeast Ga area. Have a great day!

henley, let me be the first to welcome you to teachat! i've been drinking tea daily for the past month or so. we have a lot in common- i'm also a mint lover. have you tried mixing mint with oolong? i love oolong because you can get so many infusions out of it. i combine either white peppermint or green peppermint tea with it. not only does it boost the flavor, but it adds even more antioxidants to each cup.

Hello Henley welcome. I too have a distaste for Earl Grey. I actually love the smell, probably because my mom drank it when I was a lil kid and i have fond memories of having teaparties with her [though I usually had milk in my teacup] The problem is that it kinda tastes like it smells and I feel like I'm tasting perfume

If you like Darjeeling you should try the white dajeeling here. It is awesome

I am totally hooked on it!

Thanks for the welcomes! Look forward to future chats.
Mocha Wheels-Thanx for the heads up about oolong & mint. Will have to try that!
Aqueoustransmegan-Will have to check out the white darjeeling. Sounds intriguing. Plus it's nice to know I'm not the only person on the planet who doesn't like Earl Grey tea.
