Hokujo at work

i don't know if has been already posted but because i am checking many informations on the web about kyusu and also because i ordered a mogake from hokujo, i found this wonderful video that show hokujo at work!
i hope that it wiil be apreciate because i see that in this forum many people love hokujo's works.

Thanks. I had not seen that and it includes great detail. I am a very happy owner of a hokujo sujihiki and have wanted to see him shape the spout. I am a big fan.

I'll remember this video next time I have a complaint about a small flaw in any of my kyusu! I guess these really are 100% handmade. Hokujo looks like a true master in this video and I think he is more meticulous and neat than many others. At one point I had nine of his kyusu including the shibaradashi. I gave one away because it was bigger than I like, almost 14 ounces. I think his products are a very good deal considering the care he puts into them.

Some sounds are apparently universal - when Hokujo stood the handle upright and set the pot on top of it everyone went "aaah" in unison! Thanks for sharing your find.
