How do you record your tasting comments? Do you use a journal? Do you write down anything at all?

I tried keeping notes on my phone or files on my computer but haven't been disciplined enough to keep it up.

So I'm using steepster.com as a tealog for all of my tasting notes. Every so often I back up my 'tealog' there onto my website. I post most of my tasting notes here also, but they're split among several topics, so not as easy to find as when they're in one place.

I do not always use it, but systematically on a first contact or an experiment on new parameters.

Date
Name of the tea / Year / Place I bought it / Quantity of leaves used / Vessel used
(If relevant : ) time / temperature for each brew.
Comments.

I love Moleskine's notebooks. I've been using them as diaries in my travels for years. It is such a pleasure to write in them, so much better than a keyboard.
