There are also cup like nylon or similar material ones that are fine mesh that are virtually indestructable. I have a few from RoT that I have been using for 8 years. If you really want to use an infuser, the best kind are the ones that are cup-like (stainless steel or glass) that rest in another cup.

I haven't tried the nylon baskets. I poked one in a store once and it felt like I would rip it. I am, however, a stainless steel basket addict for my every day teas. TROT has a nice, regular one that comes with its own cup so that you have a nice-looking place to hold the basket in between infusions. It's currently on sale for $4. ($8 regular)
