By nickE. Do you drink tea while working/studying? If so, do you drink expensive or cheap tea? Do you use other caffeination methods instead? Energy drinks, 5 hour energy, coffee, etc.

It has been a while since I studied academically, but when I am studying I like to drink tea, especially the best stuff I could get my hands on. I however will admit that I have on occasion used caffeine gum to help keep me up.

I used to drink a bit of soda and energy drinks but now the only caffeine I tend to have outside of tea is a 5-hour Energy shot whenever I accidentally don't get any sleep before going into work.

Happy birthday, Artmom and Herb-master!!!

When I want to stay awake, I just keep drinking tea. Caffeine doesn't really affect me, it's just more the process of making and drinking the tea that keeps me awake.

Chrysanthemum pu-erh this afternoon, probably going to have a lavender rooibos tisane later tonight.

This thread makes me wonder what people think is cheap, moderately priced and expensive are. Also, a pot of moderately priced tea can be expensive if the pot is large or packed heavily. I'd be curious to see what people consider an expensive tea session.

I usually drink tea at work if I find the time and if I'm working at my desk. I choose teas after brewing temperature rather than cost. Mostly oolong and blacks which can be brewed with boiling water or close to boiling water, that might change though if I buy another Aquagrad.

Thank you for all the Birthday wishes, I have been away from TeaChat :( partying

I have a confession

I have been drinking something a little stronger than tea :?

Many of my friends know me as a wine drinker, and I received about 20 different bottles of wine as gifts.

I will be back on the tea soon, but maybe not until after I have been to pick up my free bus pass, and winter heating allowance :D
