English clay teapots with unglazed interiors?

by mbanu » Dec 15th, '10, 21:40

Are any companies still making these? What's the quality like? I've heard that Old Caledonia Mills is selling "official" Brown Bettys, but that the quality isn't the best. Are there any other options being made in England? The outer glaze color and shape aren't especially important (although I'm not looking for a novelty pot)...

Advice?

I have a Brown Betty that has been great, but they the interiors are glazed. I'm not sure I've seen any English style pots that are unglazed.
