I have somewhere between 50 and 80 opened teas, depends if samples counts and if not how you define sample.
I would like to have 100+ opened teas because I like variety.
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 12/15/10 End of year inventory!
Good question for today as it gave me an excuse to put off doing boring paperwork. I have 18 open teas, and 5 unopened teas and a tidy Tea Cabinet. Since very few started out as more than 25 grams, it's not quite as much tea as it appears to be at first blush. I'm imposing a bit of discipline - I have some very promising teas - 5 all together - unopened and awaiting a sharp drop in the inventory. Oh, and I refuse to count samples.
So this morning I drank some Teaspring Jun Shan Yin Zhen and then some 7 Cups Bai Hao Yin Zhen.

I have a lot, between like 30 and 50 teas open. It's really bad, I need to sample teas as soon as I buy them.
Gosh, I'm so impatient with tea, hahaha. I'd like to have fewer than twenty open, enough to have a wide range of choices but not too many.

30-50 teas open at one time? Is that healthy? Just kidding.
Me, I currently have 5 teas open. Most of the time I rotate between the 5 and when one runs out I replace it with something new.

Great TeaDay continued with Tsuri Jirushi Gyokuro with the Mrs. and then a tasting of Master's TGY with newbies.

In my personal collection, I have well over 100 teas open. Probably more than that.

About 15, if you include the daily office regulars, the breakfast blend I confect for my wife, and several past-the-sell-by-date blacks that I lost interest in and never got around to composting. Currently two Chinese greens at work, three senchas and three Taiwanese oolongs at home. All quite enjoyable, thank you very much.

15-20 mostly smaller amounts, <25g. would prefer to have 10 or less open, enough for a good variety but not so many as to go into overload when trying to decide which tea to have any particular day.
