about to order more ripe daily drinker cakes.
i want to get 2 or 3 cakes and probably a couple bricks of 7562.
i'm shopping at the US sources...puerhshop and jas. trying to get it quicker.
here's a list of what i've tried. just looking to try out something different if anyone has any suggestions. i'd like to keep it around $75 for 3 cakes so around $25 average.
anything i need to try?

2007 Menghai "Golden Needle & White Lotus Ripe" Pu-erh
2008 Menghai "Da Yi Hong Premium Ripe" tea cake - 357 grams - 801 batch
2008 Dayi Red Makeup Pu-erh Tea Cake
2008 Dayi Bada High Mountain Pu-erh Tea Brick 2 oz
2008 Dayi 7562 Ripe Pu-erh Tea Brick
2007 Organic Menghai Banzhang Old Tree Pu-erh Tea Cake
2008 Fuhai 7568 Pu-erh Tea Cake
2006 Menghai Gongting Pu-erh Tea Cake
2006 Xiaguan Tibetan Flame Brick
2008 Dayi 7532 Pu-erh Tea Cake
2008 Dayi 8582 Pu-erh Tea Cake

thanks for the help,
andy

Nope, definitely raw.

But a nice brick, IMO. :D

Nothing's leaping out at me from the list... I think I've had a couple of them. I don't recall any of them being especially bad...

Whoops, sorry about that...

The 2003 Golden Sail's a very good deal for 15 bucks:

The 7572 beeng is bound to be good as well.

Unfortunately, puerhshop does not carry any more of the one brick I was going to recommend...

You may have already placed your order, but it not...

the "golden needle, white lotus" is awesome for shu. The problem is that it costs the same as semi-aged sheng. If shu is your preference and you want quality, that's one of the best shu cakes that I've had.
