Re: Shopping for a Yixing

Looks like Hou De has some nice wares as well. Some nice old (and expensive) pots.

I'm thinking of getting a Yixing from here or Jing's.

Anyone have any experience with Hou De?

I want to get a yixing for oolongs and pus (and perhaps blacks/reds), but I'm hoping to keep the cost under $100. I don't know if it is possible to get a good one in that range. I'd also like to have mine slightly larger, at least 100 ml but preferably in the 150 ml range. I know one pot can't be all things to all teas, it can handle a variety of teas, so much the better.

Sorry to interject this here, but it looks like the OP already made an excellent choice.
