How are you brewing it?
I've always liked Long Jing, even though I've probably only had relatively low quality, and I might get some when the new harvest is available.
I've read varying opinions on pretty much all parameters on brewing Long Jing, including whether to drink the first steep or to "wake" the leaves by pouring hot (boiling?) water on them first and discarding this first steep.

I have bought all of my tea so far from US sources, mostly Special teas at first, but now Norbu gets most of my business. I am an instant gratification type of person (when it comes to placing orders) and as I live only 2 hours from dallas, the boxes usually get here with in 2 days without having to pay for expedited shipping. I may branch out eventually, but i will have to learn patience first.

OTTI yiwu this morning, my favorite of the otti so i saved it for last. with a new otti on the way, figured i should finish off the teas i have from the last two otti's i participated in so i have the tins available for the next round when it arrives.

I usually buy from the country of origin so either Japan or China. Occasionally I'll purchase from a US vendor.

I did a flash rinse with 180 degree water, and then brewed with coller water - around 160 degrees. 1st steep 15 seconds, plus 5 seconds every steep after that. At the end I tasted the flash rinse and it was good, but cool, so I might cover it tomorrow.

USA, although I hope to make the international plunge soon...

Today I had an oolong from a tin I bought in an asian market in Kansas city. I think I may have had 3 infusions?

Drinking a sencha that I bought from an herb company in downtown KC right now.

Japan

France (one-time purchase while in Paris last year, it's very unlikely I will buy tea from France again)

I mostly buy my tea from Japan and the US for oolong from Taiwan.

When I lived in the US, I bought most of my tea from vendors there.

Now it's probably a tie between Korea (where I live) and Japan.

I bought from
USA
GB
Austria (home country :))
China
Japan
Germany

Most of the time from country of origin - 'cause I get better quality and better price.
With some vendors I am very happy and will stay with them. In future I think more countries of origin will be added - just for the try.

Yesterday I had a nice mushroom Pu Erh at work. No idea which one, but it was great.

China wins by a landslide. US comes in second and Japan gets third although I only ordered once from Japan for tea. Teaware is a whole other story.
