Woot!
My cup from Xiu Xian Tea has arrived!! Another woot!
I will be christening this cup with some Silver Needle tonight so I can take it with me to class.
I really like the fact that it is clear plastic. I like the plastic for it's durability, while I, also, like the transparency because now I can show off that I'm a proud tea drinker! Heh heh.
Oh, by the way, I got the dragon printed 12oz one. I love the design!
However, I already have a black 12oz mug from inpursuitoftea.com. I still like my black one because it is very well insulated, unlike the clear one. I have not put any tea in the clear one yet, but by the looks of it, I am pretty sure it will not hold the temperature of the tea as well as the insulated mug.
Each have their pros and cons but I am still most happy with my purchase of the clear mug. Again, great find!!

It was hard to decide myself... but I went with the 12oz. mug that DOES NOT do the 'flipping upside down' thing to brew tea right in the mug. The 8oz. mug is the one that has the attactment that you are talking about.
The reason I went with the 12oz. is because I wanted a mug to carry around already made tea... I was not going to brew it right in the mug. So I needed a larger size than 8oz.
You may be at home, or at least near hot water (or stove, microwave, etc.) more than I am, however. I needed something to travel with because of my busy schedule.
The choice is yours, grasshopper... choose wisely!
