Re: Thursday/Friday TeaDay 3/3/11 Odds are, restraining order?
Today I'm drinking some aged puer and some aged roasted wulongs. I will be ordering some green teas very soon. The harvests will be coming in two or three weeks. That's always good times.

I am preparing a small order at Hojo's (yes, him again...) to buy a cake of his Mi Di Raw puerh I really liked. I am buying and sharing it with a teafriend, I often do that to reduce the costs and be able to buy more stuff in the end. I will order a couple of small bags of his japanese teas. This will help me to wait until the shincha season. Maybe a couple of 15g dan cong teabags which will make great presents for friends.
I am looking at the kyusu but I am not decided yet...

More 90's Pindong last night and this morning.
This is my not so authentic yixing teapot, which actually makes great tea. I assume it's slipcast.

Well a decent sized order just arrived yesterday containing a good bit of Sencha, Gyo and Matcha, and that is hopefully my last Green tea order until new harvests start coming in.
But I will likely still place a few orders for teas that are not so dependent on freshness such as Roasted oolongs.

Thanks for coloring our TeaDay Tortoise and H_M! H_M, what does the inside of the lid and canister look like on those? I am wondering if there is some type of seal? They sure are impressive en masse!
Looking at only 2 - 50 gram bags of unopened sencha, I would have liked to not order again til shincha ... hm.
Began the TD with Hosen from Ippodo with the Mrs. Only 1-2 sessions of this sencha left too.

I am on day two of a 3 stamp old bush shui xian from the Mandarin. This is serious candy for the rock tea lover.

Finishing up a great TD with Musashi from O-Cha and Nada's 90's Bulang started yesterday. Great TD!

Not ordering anything until the Spring gao shan cha's arrive at my local tea vendor. I usually go there, taste a few, then get 1/2 lb of my favorite. While I'm there, I am allowed to get 1/4-1/2 lb amounts of other favorites, usually a white tea, a black tea, and a jasmine tea. This year I'm going to splurge on some dancong. Kind of done with my Tiekuanyin and Wuyi phase for now. Also, I broke a beautiful Ru Kiln cup this morning (See the Teaware Loss thread), and promptly went on Ebay to purchase a replacement, which comes in a set of 2. Money spent, that wasn't planned for. I cannot buy any tea right now!
Currently still working through 1.5 oz jasmine pearls, 1.75 oz. silver needle, 1 oz. Fu Shou Shan, 1 oz. Yunnan gold buds, 2.5 oz. Taiwan grown Tiekuanyin, a chunk of shou puerh, and a couple of green and black samples.
Enjoying a tiny pot (it's so cute!) of that Taiwan grown Tiekuanyin. Not bad. It keeps going and going...after about 7th or 8th infusion, if I use boiling water, tastes a bit like rice crispies. Excuse the picture quality. Still figuring out digital camera settings.

What purpose did I buy it for?
Re: Thursday/Friday TeaDay 3/3/11 Odds are, restraining order?
I tend to order too much tea.
I am only able to control it with waiting just some more time. And my list grows and grows. Think I have to drink more tea
