Sencha and spicy food.

by Xell » Mar 19th, '11, 12:01

I've just noticed how nice of a mix it is, at least for me :) Today i prepared some spicy chicken curry and was drinking sencha while i was eating. I didn't expect to get such a nice combination, aftertaste was really nice. Maybe i like it even more, than actual taste of sencha. Anyone else with similar experience?

I often enjoy sencha or genmai cha with a bowl of soba, that I load up with a ridiculous amount of togarashi.

Although I never drink tea during a meal I almost always drink a green tea(not usually a sencha though).Today it was a Yunnan green after a very hot shrimp curry. Amazing how the tea cools the fire and how the fire accents the best properties of the tea. :)
