I'm wondering if when I return from Japan in June that my usual luggage stuffed with tea will get all ripped apart in US Customs and the stuff confiscated? We'll see.

Tape it to your body!
But then that would likely set off the metal detectors.
Have your pottery friends fill some pieces with sencha!
Began the TD with the virtual last of Kaboku from Ippodo, it was excellent ... followed by pretty decent genamicha paired sushi and sashimi with the Mrs.

Tonight drinking from a Fen Cai porcelain cup
In the cup Jing Tea Shop's Tie Luo Han
Might have a wee dram of Single Malt afterwards
Though Glenlivet is not one of my favourites, so it needs using up

Last year I went for gao shan cha for spring harvests. This year, it is going to be japanese greens.
I've learnt so much in a year. I hope it will be the same in 2011 !

Finishing the day with Organic Sencha from Rishi. Small steeps since sencha is rare here right now ... better a little sencha than no sencha!

I'm going for different this spring. Last year I just stuck with my favorites from the previous year. That worked out fine but was a bit boring, so this year I want to try some new tea. lao cong shui xan and tai ping hou kui top the "to try" list.
