Small Teapot for Work?

by forkyfork » Sep 26th, '07, 17:15

I'm looking for a small teapot that I can use at work. The teapot should have a built in/removable infuser, be relatively small (2 cups worth, preferably), and not be too expensive. I just want something to keep the tea relatively warm as I use it throughout the day. I've also been told to buy a teapot with the spout close to the top, which is why the adagio's personalitea is out for me :(

Does anyone know anything about the Forlife line of products? I was looking at their Stump teapot and their Whole Leaf Teapot.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Or does anyone recommend a better teapot?

Not sure about heat retention, but have you considered the Bodum Assam? It's an appropriate size, and when the tea is done brewing you just push down on the press which seals off the tea leaves at the bottom of the infuser. I'm considering it for a work environment, but still looking at other options.

I would very much recommend the Travette from Timolino (Timolino.com). They sell these direct and via Amazon.com. It's probably my favorite portable teapot to date.
