Hello community
I bought my first yixing teapot about two months ago, but found out it isn’t as good as I wanted it to be. It was cheap, but it looks nice. I seasoned it for drinking ripe pu erh tea. I used it perhaps seven times for brewing tea.
Now that I learned something about teapots, I bought new one, that I want to use for ripe pu erh instead, asi t is my favourite tea.
My question is, if I will be able to use the old teapot for other teas. Is it possible to reseason the teapot? If I boil it and then season it with new tea will it make some difference than making tea in gaiwan? I would like to use it for high roasted oolongs.
Thank you for any advice

I wouldn't do anything special. Just start using the pot for a different kind of tea.

I'd boil it first. Nothing like a clean slate.
Before you go dedicating these pots to particular teas, have you been doing any testing to make sure they are a good fit? I use
this test myself.
