Any idea on the storage conditions? Like a desert, perhaps?
To me, it looks pretty green for a 1998. I think it would have had to be stored in an extremely dry environment to look like that after 13 years.
But, I do not consider myself an expert in identification, so somebody else may have greater insight.

I would say that the wrapping paper looks too new for 13 year old cake.

Also, those leaves look somewhat like plantation stuff. I don't have much experience with bing and leaf identification, but it still looks like regular old plantation stuff.
