Pics and Bios for ITD Members

by hop_goblin » Nov 14th, '07, 16:18

I was thinking about for us "hardCore" chatters and drinkers in this Private forum to have a post where we attach a pic and a brief profile of each of us. This will give us a more sense of community and it will be cool to see who the hell we are chatting with!. Of course it would be optional :) Any takers?

If everyone jumps off this bridge, I will too.

Actually this would be cool. How to go about it though? Everybody makes their very own thread?

I think it would work out if we each made our own thread with our screen name for the title, then have the first post be the intimate auto-biography, and throw up a poll to see if anyone really likes us. :P

Why don't we just have one thread dedicated to bios? No real conversation...just...us? I can make it a sticky thing so it'll stay up at the beginning of the forum, like where the welcome and admission rules are, or I could just open up the welcome thread for bios. That actually seems like a logical place for them.

We are having an issue with pictures. With the wider layout, the pictures are resizing larger and there's no option to shrink them to their appropriate size. Adagio's currently short one computer guru, so any fix on that might take awhile.
