Talk is rising about how the chat on the site is no longer as much dedicated to tea.
There are other options, of course. There's a registered channel (to prevent hoarding by non-tea people! muahaha) on irc.rizon.net channel #teachat. I have a java applet set up at my site if you don't have an IRC client, though there are many out there, and for free.

If people want to go, that's always open. Also, there has been recent experimentation with the use of Yahoo Messenger and mention of other instant messaging protocols for use as an outside chat.
Suggestions are always welcome.

Eastree...the link did not work for me...
One thing I think we should limit is all the talk about ITD on the IM. This is causing confusion amoung members. I have had several PM me asking what is going on.
Perhaps a little self restraint on the forum would be appropriate. If you want to flirt, which I do not mind flirting...actually, flirting can be fun...well, I am getting off the subject. If you want to flirt, perhaps moving it off site is not a bad idea.
Thoughts and suggestions are surely welcomed and greatly appreciated. After all, we want to have the best TEA forum on the planet. Of course with this comes familiarity and having fun with each other.

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
Yeah...that's my bad. Sometimes I'll mention an ITD post or something in the chat figuring those not 'in the know' will gloss over it. Clearly this is not the case.Chip wrote: One thing I think we should limit is all the talk about ITD on the IM. This is causing confusion among members. That being said...I think we need to start some election polls here. The guidelines I posted for elections aren't rules...just ideas. If there's someone who looks like a great candidate, and looks like they'll stick around but hasn't posted for a full month...well, throw up an election poll anyway. If you're called on it, take it down and throw it up again in a couple weeks.

Umm...from what I can see...
RageOfAngels is now Fatalitea
Andy is now Warden
scruffmcgruff is now Scruff McGruff (But, that's pretty obvious. BTW, Scruff...I appreciate the proper spacing and capitalization. Gold star!)
I think that's it.
The list should now be updated to reflect the current names and roster. (The quick of eye will note that TeaKate has been removed. Kate left Adagio and terminated her account.)
