I've collected cat whiskers too! I used to do it when I was in elementary and middle school; we had this Persian who would leave rolling clumps of cat fur (picture a bunch of fluffy grey tumbleweeds rolling around the living room

) and whiskers all over the place, and I'd pick up the whiskers and put them in my dresser. When Hootie died, I put the whiskers in my jewelry box... I know this sounds silly, but one day when I find juuuuust the perfect locket, I'm going to put them in there. That cat was my first best friend.
Hmmm, other odd collections-- let's see, I used to collect seeds that would fall from trees when I was a little kid, my friends and I would pick them up off the ground at recess and occasionally fight over the really big seedpods. Now I collect action figures, unusual pens, and interesting candy boxes.
Black dragon pearls this morning (yum!), a lot of iced green tea to keep me hydrated while packing to go back to college, and I'm currently waiting on some longjing to cool down to non-mouth-burning temperatures.
