DTH: Ouch!
I just saw that Dragon Tea House has increased their teaware prices quite a bit, some of the prices have almost been doubled.

I've noticed that the prices for most of the zisha pots they've been posting lately are ridiculously high.

I just wrote to teafromtaiwan asking them the same thing. Ross told me the exchange rate with the dollar is the main culprit. But, China's Yuan is not fluctuating with the weak dollar.TokyoB wrote:I've noticed that the prices for most of the zisha pots they've been posting lately are ridiculously high.

One of the (numerous) itchy things about CN¥ is, when it inflates relative to US$, it almost always simultaneously deflates domestically... (maybe some macro-economists can figure out why?) That means it cost you more ¥ to buy things in China, and then it's even more when exchanged to $.
