Hi everyone! New to TeaChat and would like to ask help from those more learned than me. Came across a teapot and thought it was interesting. It has no markings at all. The pot is white (either painted metal or perhaps porcelain clad), underside of the lid is shiny metal and it has a sweet bird whistle on the end. I'm attaching pictures and hope someone can help.
Thanks!

Re: Help Identifying a Teapot
I do not know how much help I can be identifying it, but I believe that is a somewhat standard issue Tea Kettle, not meant for brewing tea in, but meant for boiling water. It looks like it is likely Stainless steel or similar painted white on the outside. While I have never seen one with the Bird whistling insert in the spout, I have seen several similar to it in design.

this is the well-know version. what you have is a tea kettle, as mentioned, and not a tea pot.
the bird whistle gives it its charm when the water comes to boil.

Re: Help Identifying a Tea Kettle
Thanks for the responses. Was a little unsure of the proper nomenclature (posting as teapot instead of tea kettle). I appreciate the clarification.
Any idea as to the manufacturer? I have searched high and low without luck.
Thank you!!
